Yes. When the customer accepts, the quote converts into an invoice carrying the same lines, prices and discounts, so nothing is typed twice.

Are quotes sent to myDATA?
No. A quote is not a tax document, so it is not transmitted. Only the invoice that follows it goes to myDATA.
